Islamic scholars at this conference will analyse the Islamic experience of this century and proposes a framework of thoughts and ideas which will form the basis of a coherent set of plans to herald Islam, and to work with, well into the next century. A thorough examination of the intellectual, socio-economic, political and spiritual dimensions of Islam will be given, all of which are necessary, to meet the challenges of the 21st. century in order that Islam be adopted as the only viable solution to the needs and problems of humankind as a whole in the highly technological world of the next century.

This conference commemorates the 60th. anniversary of
Mubaligh-e-Azam Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdul Aleem Siddiqui’s (Rahamatullah alaih) visit to Canada and USA in 1939. Known as the Roving Ambassador of Islam he touched the hearts of thousands who he came into contact with all over the world. In 1989 his eminent son Imam-e-Ahl Sunna Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqui established a branch of World Islamic Mission in Canada to continue this glorious and important work in North America.
