Lovers' Falls

She is the sun, the fire, the heat, the passion.
Glowing red-hot, full of energy, making him warm with her heat.
Bringing out the passion that burns within him.

He is the water, rushing, endless, knowing no boundaries.
Soaking up her rays of passion, heating up as the day goes on;
the sun becoming hotter and hotter,
shining down on him, sending all her heat, her intensity, her love
for him to soak up and take with him as he runs playfully,
experiencing all he can.

Water can go anywhere, do anything.
Without form, withough borders he is able to make his way down HIS river,
splashing against shores that try to confine him.
Rushing over obstacles as if not even there.
Never noticing the sun; yet, all the while,
soaking up her beauty,
her heat,
her love.

But even water must find its place;
even water must come to rest in an ocean; in a sea.
A sea that she reigns over,
a sea where he is free to bask in the warmth and tenderness she provides,
attmepting to merge their two worlds;
worlds so different, yet, so much the same
with one common goal of Love.

Giving it,
taking it,
sharing it;
for both the sun and the water are essential for existence.
One cannot exist without the other,
nor do they want to.

The magnificent way the sun,
while showering him with her heat filled with love,
warms the water as he rushes by,
yet, never really being out of her range.
The water, cool, carefree, surmounting any obstacle,
always running but as he runs he is still soaking up her rays,
never really escaping the sun.

The sun and the water;
so different, yet, so essential to one another.
One warming, constant, embracing.
The other cooling, changing, raging.
Together they mix,
making the most wonderful, warm, encompassing feeling
that the world has ever known.
