 NOTE:  In Windows 95 you can only change the icons for shortcuts.  In Windows 3.x you can only change the icons for Program Group items.

In Windows 95

  1. Right click on the icon that you would like to change.
  2. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
  3. Select the Shortcut tab located at the top of the dialog box.
  4. Push the Change Icon button located near the bottom of the dialog box.
  5. Navigate to the directory that you "unzipped" your icons to.
  6. Select the icon you would like and press OK.

In Windows 3.x

  1. Open up the Program Group, which contains the icon, you would like to change.
  2. Highlight the icon and go to the File menu and select Properties.
  3. Push the Change Icon button located near the bottom of the dialog box.
  4. Navigate to the directory that you "unzipped" your icons to.
  5. Select the icon you would like and press OK.
