The following are major players in the EU and perhaps also in the escalating Mideast peace deals.

Martti Ahtisaari was a major player in the Kosovo peace negotiations. He is a peacemaker. On
Thursday, July 15, 1999, Yassir Arafat asked Ahtisaari to become involved in the Israeli-Palistinian
peace process. ``We urge His Excellency to play a similar role in the peace process in the Middle East region because he enjoys
prestige, respect and appreciation with all parties,'' Arafat said through a translator.
Also of important note is that he is also the current (July 1999) president of the EU. The presidency rotates. |

I think it's interesting to note that Lafontaine was called the "Kingmaker" in The Irish Times on 12/3/98.
It reminds me of Revelation 17:12:
"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings,
which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour
with the beast." |
I am not, of course, saying that LaFontaine is the Antichrist. Just an interesting
correlating use of words. If he is not the antichrist, however, and if he is not a
a true Chrisian, he may play a significant support role to the Antichrist. Only time will tell.
