The Daughters of the American Revolution did an inventory of our grave markers in 1980.
A copy of that information is located at the Hamburg Historical Society .
I also have a copy of the information.
Also, the records that we do have are currently being re-inventoried and reorganized.
- Jim Beatty Superintendent of Prospect Lawn Cemetery <JBEATTY19_AT_AOL.com>
Organized in August 1878, also contains graves which were removed between
1892 and 1893 from the (Village Cemetery organized in 1827).
Unfortunately, ALL records were presumably destroyed in the fire of
Froehley's Funeral Home in the 1920's.
These existing records aren't always accurate, are incomplete
and do not contain documentation of the early reinterred burials.
Our Special Thanks to Jim Beatty for send us the above information. Be sure to give Jim a "Thank You".- Prospect Park Cemetery Moved to Prospect Lawn Cemetery
