- is buried in Eldred Pioneer Cemetery ,
Newstead, NY
- with his wife and some of their
descendants.
- He served as a pvt. in the 2nd Hopkinton
Co, Washington County, RI.
- For a time he was heldas a prisoner on a
British ship in NY harbor.
- Following the war he continued in the
military,
- becoming Ensign & then Captain in
his unit.
- He served as well as Ensign in RI's 2nd
company, 3rd Regiment.
- I am also a descendant and recently was
admitted to the DAR under his service.
