为了庆祝曼绒县实兆远甘文阁一带开垦百周年，曼绒中华公会召集
曼绒县各社团商讨有关的庆祝事宜。可称为是曼绒县华社高层次组
织的中华公会，在这一件事情上可以说是作的合情合理。

第一次的会议於2002年6月30日下午1点正於中华公会召开。会议主
持人是中华公会主席林良平律师。当天出席的社团单位有46个，出
席人数有89位。

出席的社团包括：

在此次会议之中 ， 高永平博士向大会解说有关开垦的历史及过程
。他说曼绒县的开垦历史是有确实的记载。 尤其是9月9日， 也就
是363位来自中国古田， 闽候以及福清的垦荒者在卫理公会牧师们
的带领之下来到实兆远作垦荒的工作。

此次会议结果是： 全体出席者一致举手通过大家一齐来推动100周
年纪念的庆典活动。

为了避免籍贯性 ，种族性，地区性等色彩， 同时为扩大庆祝的层
面与范围； 同时不违背历史的事实， 众一致通过以下的庆祝名称
：〖曼绒县社团庆祝开垦100周年纪念工委会〗

第二次的会议於 2002年 7月21日召开下午2点正於宣道堂开垦纪念
堂召开。

当日列席的团体有55个单位。  此次会议最重要的乃是要组成工委
会。选举结果， 宣道堂以31票中选为工委会主席。 该工委会选举
的结果如下：

1.工委会主席：甘文阁宣道堂。
2.副主席：曼绒中华公会。
3.总务：十字路堂。
4.副总务：福清公会，闽江联欢社。
5.秘书：爱大华卫理公会。
6.副秘书：南华校友会，华校教师公会。
7.财政：三一堂。
8.副财政：福州会馆，林氏宗亲公会。
9.查账：闽南公会，闽清公会。

The Working Committee Of  Manjung Societies Celebrate 100th 
Anniversary Of Pioneering have being emerge.

For the celebration of the 100th anniversary of  pioneering
in Manjung District, Sitiawan,  Kampung Koh,  Manjung Chung 
Hwa Association  have gathered all organizations in Manjung
District  to discuss  about the  celebration  matters.  The
Chung Hwa Association, which has being organized by Manjung 
District Chinese Society, have acted in a fair and sensible
way on this matters.

The first meeting has  being held in  Chung Hwa Association
on 30th  June 2002 at 1.00pm.  The  president  of Chung Hwa
Association, lawyer Mr. Ling Leong Ping, hosted the meeting
. There  were 46 organizations  and 89  people attended the
meeting.

In this  meeting,  Dr.Goh Eng Bing has explained  about the
history and the process of cultivation.  He also  mentioned 
that the history of cultivation in  Manjung District have a
true and reliable record. These was according to 9th Septem
-ber, which was also the time where there were  363 pioneer
from Ku Tian,  Min Hou and Fu Qing, China came,  and to cul
-tivate this  wasteland under  the leadership  of three pas
-tors from the Methodist Church.

The result of this  meeting :  all those  who were  present
have agreed to promote  the 100th  anniversary  celebration 
activities.

Regardless of the dialect,  race and region matters; and at
the same time in order to expand  the process and scope  of
the celebration; and does not violate the truth of the  his
-tory,  all those who present  have agreed in  one voice to
named this celebration as  "Manjung District  Society  Cele
-brate 100th Anniversary of Pioneering Working Committee"

The second meeting  has being  held  in  Pioneer  Methodist
Church on 21st July 2002 at 2.00pm.

There were 55  organizations attended the meeting.  In this
meeting  the   main  affairs   was   to  form  a  committee 
to in charge on the celebration activities.  As the  result 
from the election,  Pioneer Methodist Church with  31 votes
became the president  of the committee.  The committee  mem
-bers are as below :
