Dennis and other Shackelford researchers, is this your Greenberry Shackelford line?
Greenberry Shackelford was born 22 March 1827, and died 12 February 1877. He married Elizabeth Puckett. Children: James, William, Mary, James Gardner, Nancy, Malissa, Amanda, John and Cordelia.
I am not a Shackelford descendant but am researching that line hoping to
find my Ross line that I have only back to Daniel Ross who married
Elizabeth Burk in Lincoln Co., KY, 29 June 1786.
As I have already written, there are at least six Shackelford-Ross marriages and I am anxious to find how the Rosses are related to each other and to Daniel Ross, if they are. Ross is a very common name but at least some of the Rosses are probably related; perhaps all are related in some way.
Will appreciate any help you can give me.
This is what I have for the parents and siblings of Greenberry Shackelford. I don't know whether the mother is Frances Wright or Nancy Gossett. Hope it helps.

Here are the marriages:
Zachariah Shackelford, Jr. died after 1860 in Casey Co., Kentucky. He married Frances Ross May 22, 1809 in Casey Co., KY.
Ann Shackelford was born January 13, 1795. She married John Ross May 11, 1815 in Mercer, KY.
Louisa Shackelford was born September 23, 1809 in Kentucky, and died Abt. 1885 in Casey Co., KY. She married William Butler Cundiff March 23, 1829 in Casey County, KY.
James Murrell Shackelford was born July 07, 1827. He married (1) Henrietta Marie Ross. He married (2) Martha Stewart Ross May 11, 1850 in Union Co., KY.
Lucy Shackleford. She married Daniel Ross.
