Hi! My maiden name is "Shackelford" and I have "just begun" the "Shackelford Genealogy" ........ so bear with me! I am wondering if there are any descendants who may have information on:
Zachariah Shackelford born 1798 and married Mary Jane Finney in 1823 in Allen County in Kentucky. Children: John Lafayette, Sarah C., Calloway, Irvin, Columbus, William, Martha F., Emily F., Mary D.
John Lafayette Shackelford born around 1824; died December 2, 1907; buried in Bates City, Missouri. Married Elizabeth Carter who was born in Warren County, Missouri in 1836. Children: Robert, Thomas, MaDora, Sterling, Marion, Irvin Lock, William Marion, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Anna, Zachariah or Jeremiah.
Irvin Lock Shackelford born August 11, 1874 in Warren County, Missouri. Married Nannie Belle Strange on February 4, 1895. She was born September 16, 1877 in Montgomery County, Indiana.
