I am looking for ancestors/descendents of Marshal Preston Shackelford who was the son of David Ashly Shackelford.
Marshal Preston Shackelford and his family settled in Polk County, Texas. I know nothing about where they came from so any help and guidance you could give me would be helpful. I am afraid that I don't have much on Marshal Preston except a listing of his children from his wife's obituary in the paper. Will be glad to share anything I have. Thank you,
