To all of you out there in computer land! I married into the Underwood side that was a Underwood and Shackelford Union. I have two children one in perticular that wants to know her roots. I have been working on my side for sometime now, and decided to do my daughter's now so that it will be easier for her someday when she want's to continue, plus I believe it also helps her to understand history in general. and now she doesn't complain so much when I'm off to the Archives or Geneology Library. Ha Ha! well here it goes., Boy if I could just master this computer better!

So you can see that I've just gotten started. I'm sure it'a going to be an aventure just like the rest. I have heard for many years that that the Shackelford Family was quite a known family in Hope, Arkansas. I really hope to hear from all of you. My five step children are also  glad I am doing this, and very anxious to find out about their roots too! I guess I have been elected FAMILY HISTORIAN!!! Gives me just one more thing to do! HA HA. Thank-you all. Glad to be on board, if I will be keeping my eyes out also for any information that I can pass on to all of you. Bye for now.
