I was wondering if it would be possible for you to find out or if you had any information on a Hurvie Thomas Shackelford b Oct 1900 or 1901.
I don't know who his father was as no one has ever spoken of him. He ran out on his family when my grandfather was a child.
Hurvie was born in Arlington. Tx., I believe, I want to say that they originated from Tennesse but I am not certain of that. My father was born in or around Gainsville as he was raised in Valley View, Tx. until the mid to late 50's. Hurvie did work for the Santa Fe Railroad for many years.
He passed away in 1990 and was 89 I believe. I do appreciate all of your help. This is such a great way to meet new people who could possible turn out to be a distant relative. Again thank you so much.
