My name is Pat(ricia) Shackelford Hobson. I am a descendant of Abner Shackelford and Nancy Gossett via their son, Sanford Richard Shackelford, his son Sherman Sanford Shackelford, his son Benham Butler Shackelford, and my father James Sanford Shackelford. I'm still trying to find out where all these Sanfords came from.
Dear Shackelford researchers: I have a Greenberry Shackelford as one of the twelve children of Abner Shackelford (son of Abner Shackelford and Frances Wright) and Nancy Gossett, who married in Pulaski County KY in 1818. Abner had a thirteenth child by his second wife, Rebecca Ann Daniels, according to my records. (I am a descendant through their 1st or 2nd child, Sanford Richard Shackelford). I also have info that Greenberry married Elizabeth Puckett, had seven children, and died in Breathitt County KY.
