The hearth has traditionally served as the "heart" of
the home. It is at the hearth where meals were cooked, where sacred fires burned
continuously in honor of the Great Goddess, where families and friends would gather to
share folklore, poetry, and wine; and prayers and offerings were humbly placed in faithful
reverence by the flames.
As in the tradition of the hearth, The Witches' Hearth was created much for
the same reasons: to serve as a place of continual honor to the Goddess; to educate others
on matriarchal and Pagan religious and spiritual practices and ethics; and to allow
Witches the opportunity to network with others.
May your visit here be both enlightening and inspiring.
