X-Pac Profile

Almost everything about X-Pac - his name, his look, and his attitude - has changed drastically since his first stint in the WWF. So have his fortunes...

No longer burdened by the underdog tag he wore as The 1-2-3 Kid, X-Pac has gone out and twice seized the WWF European title...

Won his first championship as The Lightning Kid in 1990 when he defeated Matt Derringer for the Pro Wrestling America light heavyweight title...

Won it a second time from Jerry Lynn...

Also beat Lynn (and later Chaz) for the Global Wrestling Federation's junior heavyweight title in Texas in 1991...

Debuted as The Kid in the WWF in early-'93...

Lost to several mid-carders ("I was an underdog from the very start")...

Upset Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) on RAW on May 17, 1993, and afterward changed his name to The 1-2-3 Kid...

Suffered a back injury in a match against Marty Jannetty, the same man with whom he would defeat The Quebecers for the WWF World tag team title in January 1994. The Quebecers regained the title a week later...

With Bob Holly, Kid won that title a second time by beating Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka in January 1995. They lost to The Smokin' Gunns the next night ("You hate being known as one-day champions")...

When his career regressed, he turned to manager Ted DiBiase for guidance...

Went from lovable longshot to hated rulebreaker overnight ("My real fans understood")...

Was humbled in a series of matches with former friend Ramon...

Joined the nWo in September 1996 and called himself Syxx...

Defeated Dean Malenko for the WCW Cruiserweight title at SuperBrawl VII...

Lost the belt to Chris Jericho four months later...

His high-risk wrestling style began to take its toll, though, and a neck injury he sustained in October 1997 put him out indefinitely...

Was fired from WCW in March 1998 after Eric Bischoff deemed him expendable ("I found out when they sent me a letter by Fed Ex")...

Made his D-Generation X debut the night after WrestleMania XIV and verbally tore into Bischoff and Hollywood Hogan...

Helped DX battle The Nation by taking on the much larger Mark Henry...

Also defeated D'Lo Brown for the WWF European strap...

Traded the belt with D'Lo...

Feuded with Jeff Jarrett and Ken Shamrock...

Beat Jarrett in a hair vs. hair match at SummerSlam '98 ("Looks like a cueball with ears")...

Lost the European title to Shane McMahon in a tag team match on February 15 (1999) after former DX member Chyna interfered on behalf of the Corporation...

Currently feuding with the Corporation, but also has his eye on the tag team title, which he'd love to win with DX leader Hunter Hearst Helmsley ("It's about time DX struck gold again").
