La primera década de la extraordinaria historia de U2 será celebrada con el lanzamiento
mundial de "U2 The Best of 1980-1990" por Island Records el próximo 3 de noviembre. 

Sólo durante la primera semana el álbum de 14 canciones estará disponible en una presentacion 
de 2 CDs de edición limitada, que incluirá 15 lados B de los 80. 

La edición regular del album, sin los lados B, estará disponible a partir del 10 de noviembre. 

Como anticipación del album, Island también lanzará una nueva versión de The Sweetest Thing 
como sencillo el 29 de septiembre, esta canción aparareció originalmente como lado B de 
Where the Streets Have No Name.
