The episode starts out w/ everyone's analysis on David. How he can hang out w/ the guys, but also click w/ the girls. He talks about his friendship w/ Kat, and how they were friends before the show, and that he's happy she's on the show w/ him. He also says he wouldn't ruin the friendship. They show him at the pool, looking at a wedding dress book w/ Veronica, Piggy, & Holly. To lead into the next topic, David says how Holly & Dan should get married, to have the All-American family. Then, everyone talks about how perfect Dan & Holly would be together. Dan & Holly talk about how they clicked instantly. Holly says that she feels safe w/ Dan, and talks to her mother on the phone about how perfect he is. But, Dan says he has a girlfriend, and he's having a hard time w/ the situation.
On to the next scene. The trash talking between both teams. They are introduced to their 7th mission: swamp buggies. A swamp buggy expert tells the gang that swamp buggies are water vehicles, w/ no brakes that move extremely fast. They don't exactly get swamp buggies, though. They get Jeeps (stick-shift Jeeps), and automatically, some cast members are having trouble, particularly on the Real World team. Heather & Amaya cannot drive stick-shift, and David gets frustrated, saying it's easy. Also, Amaya is sick (again), this time, because of a shrimp dinner she ate the night before, that "poisoned" her. David doesn't buy it, and complains that she's always sick when it comes time to do the missions. He says that by the last mission, she'll have Hodgkins Disease. Then, David & Teck try some more to teach Heather B. how to drive stick-shift. David rallies the troops for a pep talk, and gets some cast members frustrated, such as Kat.
It's game time. The first event involves keeping a blown-up alligator inside of the swamp buggy, while racing around in the water. When each member is done going around, they have to quickly make a transition, and transfer the alligator to another member's Jeep as fast as possible. The first two to go are Dan & David. Then, Los & Mike. But, afterwards, Amaya can't get started, and is having trouble w/ her Jeep. Meanwhile, Road Rules is taking off. The Road Rules team wins the first event of the competition. That gains the RR team 25 points. The RR team celebrates, and the RW team sulks. The RW team still has a chance, though, and Heather B. suggest hitting her butt for luck, which the RW team follows through on. The 2nd event involves going into pairs, and trying to collect as many little plastic animals as you can. You can't go in reverse. The first pairs to go are David & Kat and Yes & Holly. Yes & Holly's Jeep breaks down in the water, and Holly quotes that they're "sitting ducks, Ha." :) But, just as things were getting good for the Real World team, Kat turns the car around, breaking a rule. You can't go in reverse. Obviously, they misunderstood, and thought that by not being able to go in reverse, you just couldn't put the car in reverse mode, which is incorrect. They try to turn around, and keep going, but end up in the same ditch Yes & Holly got into. David throws a fit, and screams at Kat, to put her foot on the gas. She replies that is, yelling back at him, and telling him how hard it is not to hit him at the moment. The Real World team is disqualified, and are really bummed. Heather and Amaya yell about it, and the Real World team throws a fit about losing the 2nd event. The Road Rules team wins again, making the score 40-0. Amaya tries to confront David, telling him how no one's having fun anymore, but he just yells and swears at her. In the 3rd event, there are 3 rounds. The Real World team has to win all 3 to stay in it. It involves the driver being blind-folded, while the passenger has to verbally give them directions, to win the race. One of the officials warns them that he doesn't wanna have to use the ambulances they have ready, so they have to be VERY careful. The teams are Kat & David vs. Holly & Yes again. David & Yes are driving, while Kat & Holly navigate them. The Road Rules team wins, so there's no chance for the RW team anymore. David refuses to complete teh other rounds, 'cause they can't win. The rest of his team is angry about this. RR team celebrates, while RW team sulks again. The final score is 55-0.
Afterwards, David gets angry and takes the Road Rules team's horns. He says that they've been winning ever since they got them, so he's taking 'em. Dan says he lost his virginity at 21, and everyone's in shock. Holly cries because she can't be w/ Dan, because of his girlfriend. The episode ends w/ scenes of Holly crying, and Dan in tough decision. Also, Mike & Dave talk about Kat's fear of clowns.
Next week on the Challenge, a fight between Los & Veronica. But is there really a mission?
