For you who have not heard, Whale is a band from Sweden and members are: Henrik Schyffert (guitar), Jon Jefferson Klingberg (guitar, vocal), Cia Soro (vocals), Jorgen Wall (drums) and Heikki Kiviaho (bass).
Most people only know Whale singles "Slobo Humpin' Hobo Babe" and "Pay for me", but that's just "the tip". It was "Pay for me" that I heard first too. But listen to the old albums, and that it's SO much more!! There is a "rock" feel to their music. Also very different from album to next album. Also very complex and innovative, lyrics and music. (Would you have thought of combining flute, rain sounds, jetplanes and vocoders like on Muzak???)
