Higher Ideals' Complete™ line of vitamins & minerals are not ordinary vitamins & minerals. We use natural forms of vitamins,while store brands typically use synthetic, man-made vitamins. Natural forms do more nutritional good. Higher Ideals continues its unique tradition of making everything in capsules. Capsules are easier to swallow, dissolve faster, contain no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or coating materials. Higher Ideals'Complete™ line is unique in so many ways, we cannot detail of them here, but the following information will give you some of the highlights. Let's start with vitamin A...Higher Ideals adds a natural beta-carotene, along with five other natural carotenoids that are most commonly found in fruits and vegetables. This special complex called Betatene® will help ensure you have sufficient precursors to make more vitamin A if needed. A natural vitamin E and a patented Ester C® are also contained in the vitamin formulations. Ester C® has been clinically shown to stay in the body three times longer than other forms of vitamin C. Other major brands use ascorbic acid as vitamin C, which only stays in the body a few hours. Higher Ideals also added patented Bioprene™. This new, purified alkaloid extract from black pepper was specifically developed to address the problem of bioavailability (the amount absorbed into your blood-stream). Clinical data has shown whether a vitamin or a mineral, Bioprene™ significantly increases absorption. That's why we use this in our Complete line of vitamins and minerals! We have also put our minerals in a specific base of various herbs to provide more nutrient value for specific gender groups. For example, among various herbs used in the base of the women's minerals is dong quai, to reinforce their hormonal system. The men's minerals include Saw Palmetto Berry for assisting prostate maintenance.
Vitamin antioxidants should be separated from oxidant minerals to minimize neutralization of the two. Complete AM vitamins are taken during the day, Complete PM minerals are taken in the evening.
