Where in the World is Elkhart, Indiana?
Located almost in the middle of the "Main Street of the Midwest," the Interstate 80/90 tollway that stretches from Ohio to Illinois, Elkhart hugs the southern border of the state of Michigan. In fact, the Elkhart area is included in a strip that was taken from the state of Michigan and given to Indiana so that the state could have Lake Michigan access.
