Isaac Jones:

 Father was William Jones : Mother; unknown. Married :  Mary Jane "Gincy" Osborne, Oct 22, 1818
The family of Isaac Jones came from the Clinch River Valley in Virginia, passing through the Cumberland Gap to Franklin
County , Indiana, along with many other families. (Source: Mrs Hazel Hammond Thomas, quoting Mr. Casey Jones,Pike

Isaac Jones and Gincy Osborn, both natives of Virginia, came to Indiana separately with their respective families. They were married in Franklin County, Indiana in 1818. (Reliable source of information: Early Osbornes and Alleys, section

Mary Jane "Gincy" Osborn Jones: Born in Russell County , Virginia about 1802, Father: Squire Osborn,
Mother: Elizabeth Alley.


John and James Jones: Born in Metamora, Indiana, May 8, 1851. Parents John B. Jones and Elizabeth Gloshen .


Mary Miers Gloshen : Born in South Carolina, First wife of Nicholas M. Gloshen,Sr.


Nicholas M. Gloshen,Sr.: Born in New Jersey, husband of Mary Miers Glsohen and Keziah Colyer.
He farmed in New Jersey for about eight years after his first marriage. Nicholas Jr. was born in New Jersey in 1827. First wife died in Franklin County, Indiana in 1830. In 1834 he married his second wife in Franklin County,Indiana.They eventually settled in Mercer County, Missouri. He remained there until 1856, when he returned east and finally located in
Franklin, County., where he spent the remainder of his life.


Obadiah John Gloshen: Died at the age of 15. Son of Nicholas Gloshen Jr. and Jennie "Gincy" Jones.


Letty Frances Jones Coen: Born March 1, 1837, Wife of Henry Coen,  Married: March 22, 1859 in Franklin County.


Mary Jane Jones Hawthorn: Born March 5, 1827 , Franklin County , Indiana; Married James Hawthorn
November 29, 1849 in Franklin County, Indiana. Daughter of Isaac and Mary Jane Osborn Jones. A newspaper
article in 1893 reported that James was visiting in Brookville, Indiana, while his permanent residence was in Iowa.

30,NW Corner, Franklin County,Indiana. The farm address is 6033 Sieman Road, Batesville, Indiana. This is a dead-
end road leading off Pump House Roasd, two and ane-half miles west of Oak Forest, Indiana. It is sometimes incorrectly
 listed on county records as "Jones-Clawson Cemetery"
