These Eyes
What do you see within these eyes?
Anger? Pain? Hatred? Ambition?
Perhaps you haven't looked within?
Maybe you are only seeing what is without,
And not what is within,
You call me evil and a devil worshipper,
And yet you don't know me,
You never took the time to do so,
But you still think and say these things,
Why?
Why can't you just ignore the surface,
And see within these eyes?
Are you afraid,
Do you fear me,
We could be friends, but you avoid me,
Why? I don't understand,
It doesn't have to this way,
But it is,
Because of foolish fears keeping you away,
Why don't you look into these eyes?
Because you are afraid to see yourself.....
