But, I wasn't that fortunate. I had faith, I believed in God, but I didn't "UNDERSTAND" it.
My simplest explanation comes from a Sunday sermon on 10-3-99
Babies aren't born in our world eating solid food , they begin their lives with milk and graduate to solid foods,
YOUR Church is a "family" and it should be attended as a family. It's not just a "Sunday" go to meetin see friends you haven't seen in a week ... and come home and mow the lawn.. till Next week. NO... There has to be involvement with others.
I like to refer to this, as God's food for Thought, given to me because I know how he led me to him. He spent 43 years showing me the way. I finally saw it... Now I'M ASKING FOR MORE DIRECTIONS

Faith to me, is a step process. If you are born with it, and grew up with it in your family then you know what it means, and how it fills your heart.
and so is the bible and it needs parents or guardians to teach it to the young, rear them up with the small things, BUT!!! when you don't have that foundation growing up, and it's not a Christian built foundation, just a basic, "well. (enter son or daughters name here) . you need to go to church, It will do you good"...... nothing is really being taught by parents saying..... "Oh.... Just go, and here's 50 cents for the offering"
Praising God with your family and the others of the church family, SHARING a special event with the members, by holding hands, crying, and OF ALL THINGS "talking" if something is upsetting you.
However you Celebrate
Jesus. (meaning what Demonination you are)
CELEBRATE HIM .. and what he has done for you.
