I have been playing Warcraft II for a little over a year now, and I have taken quite a liking to it. I have found, however, that playing games against living, thinking, sentient human beings (via a hard-wire using apple talk, or over a modem) is infinatley more challenging (and not coincidentaly-more fun) than playing games against a program which, although created by entirely brilliant people, has yet to swear at me because I happen to be using my army of dragons to destroy its city whose army consists entirely of Orc-mages! (The previous sentence if funny only to those who play Warcraft II. If you do not understand the humor in the previous statement, I suggest you try defending a city from an attack of dragons with an army of Orcs.) Locating people with whom to play warcraft has been difficult and all of my attempts have failed. I decided recently to create a web page and after many unsuccessful attempts to find an interesting subject, I found myself typing a description of a large glass water jug onto my very young, very small, and most importantly, infinatley BORING web page. I also happened to be craving a game of Warcraft. Then, like so many large,heavy, and otherwise useless American History books, an idea hit me: I would create this web page- A haven for Macintosh- weilding, Warcraft-craving people like myself.
Consult the book of Warcraft II!!!-You know, the one that came with
the CD. Read the part which shows how to use someone's IP to play a
game with them over the 'net. Then go to my Warcraft II Chat where you
can arrange games with real people. Bliss!
