Born in Brisbane, Australia on February 10, 2352. Aydax loved getting into the outdoors from a very early age. Some of the time he had to make do with a holo deck but that didn't suppress his passion for the Australian bush. One of his other hobbies was fighter simulations with his friends and he often won prizes for his efforts in competitions, usually as co-pilot. There was a couple of times when he tried to achieve repairs and reconstructions in the simulators that was beyond their programming. Some of these were later added to the programs as it was proven they could work in theory.

Although he didn't have much idea about what course he would like to take in life, joining the Starfleet Academy seemed the only option that was open to him. Finally he reached the Academy and moved from his beloved Australia to his new home in San Francisco. Here he found it harder to fit in and tended to have one or two friends who would often drop by to his rather untidy quarters. Although untidy, every pile of components and papers also had a sort of order. It was often to the amazement of a visitor that the smallest of parts could be found in a matter of seconds. This isolation allowed him to get right into, not only his studies, but learning beyond them as well. One of his greatest achievements was the duplication of a 2180 vintage computer from almost all original parts (6% had to be replicated).

After graduating the Academy with Distinctions he was lucky enough to land a job on Deep Space Nine. There he quickly found himself assigned to all the dangerous jobs and was often the first into a damaged area. His commanding officer couldn't get him much recognition, however, because of his lack of experience. Between battles DS9 had often been less of a challenge than he expected. Because of some boredem on DS9 often Aydax would "re-route" the computer systems, much to the dismay of other engineering crews. Often, though, his little "alterations" were righted before anyone else found out.

With his surprise assignment to the USS Highlander suddenly he was moving again, not quite a year after arriving at DS9. He was a little upset that he wasn't able to take all of his computer components that he had spent years building up, but he sent them home to his parents. Of course, he did take some essentials on board.

The rest is still to be written...............
