Background: Jev DeHal was born on the Klingon homeworld to a large family of seven brothers. Even as a young girl she towered over her classmates and later as a young woman looked down at most Klingon males. Size and strength would be a great asset for a Klingon male but for a female in the Klingon Empire it just brought shame and dishonor. At the age of 13 she was shipped off to the Kasara School of Military Arts. It was here she began to excel at martial arts and tactics, and other skills of warfare. Her size and strength became something to be proud of and not a shameful fact. Proving herself one of the best at the school, she openly stated her goals of being a commander of a Klingon warship. But in the Klingon Empire females do not become commanders of ships. That same year she left the only home she had known (The Klingon homeworld) and boarded a transport ship to Earth. At the disapproval of her family she sighed up with Starfleet Academy and became one of the few Imperial Klingons to graduate. At the risk of dishonor her family had disowned her and cut off all ties to her. Even with the painful alienation from her family she is still proud of who she is and her culture. Personality profile: Special notes: The rest is still to be written............... |
