Born in 2337, the youngest child of 6 to Alexander and Jen Larkin, Christopher and his family lived in San Francisco, in the shadow of Star Fleet. Growing up near such an organisation, it was almost assured that at least one of the Larkin children joined Star Fleet, and in the end 5 of the six did, with the last becoming a musician and singer.

Christopher was accepted into Star Fleet just after his 18th birthday in 2354, and became a First Year as part of the intake in 2355. After four years at Starfleet Academy, he then went out and joined the big, wide world. Christopher had picked up the nickname "Hawk" while at the Academy after one of his teachers misread the roll and called him "Hawkin" instead of Larkin. This name stuck.

In 2366 Christopher's eldest brother, Jonathon, received command of his own star ship, the Galaxy class Brisbane, and offered a place aboard to Christopher (who by this stage was himself a Lieutenant Commander). Christopher thought seriously about this, but eventually declined as he did not want people to think that he was getting ahead through his brother’s assistance.

In 2367, the USS Brisbane was lost in the Battle of Wolf 359 against the Borg. There were no survivors.

In 2369 Christopher was promoted to Commander, and assigned the role of First Officer of the Ambassador Class USS Zhukov, where he served with distinction, earning his the promotion to Captain in 2373, and the promise of his own command. In the interim he has been serving at the Utopia Planatia shipyards, while waiting for the completion of the USS Righteous.

Personality Profile

Christopher is very much a believer in the relaxed style of command, tending not to be very obvious in his ways. Being the youngest of six children, Christopher tends to listen more than he speaks, allowing others to speak their minds before he makes a decision, however once a decision is made, it is final.
