Com on USS Enterprise 2372 - Promoted to Commander and First Officer aboard the USS Vancouver 2374 - San Francisco fleet yards Earth as a consultant Engineer on the Defiant project. 2375 -76 Return to the USS Vancouver Field Commission of Captain then later officially promoted during skirmishes with Cardassians 2377 - ???? Given command of USS Testa Rossa History: Luca even as a child always knew he wanted to be a Starfleet Captain one day. As soon as he was able he applied and was accepted to Starfleet Academy. Whilst at the academy he found engineering to be the most interesting and reassessed his goals, switching to engineering as his speciality where he graduated top of his class. He graduated from Starfleet academy and was posted on the Melbourne until it was destroyed at Wolf 359. He was spotted by Lt La Forge and Commander Riker as an Ensign with potential and was given a promotion to Lt Jg. aboard the USS Enterprise. He served on board the Enterprise for two years gaining a promotion to Lt. before having a career crisis and again reassessing his career goals and switching to Command. He served aboard the Enterprise until 2372 learning all he could from Captain Picard and Commander Riker and was eventually promoted to Lt Commander. He applied for and received the job as first officer aboard the USS Vancouver a new Intrepid class vessel, along with another promotion to Commander. In 2374 he was asked to return to the San Francisco ship yards to help with constructions of the new Defiant class vessels. This he did for a year before returning to the Vancouver now fighting in the Dominion war, again as First Officer. During a battle with the Cardassian forces the Captain was fatally wounded. Luca was given the field commission of Captain by his own dying captain along with firm orders to get those #!*@# and keep my ship in one piece. I'll want her back. Luca managed to keep the ship in one piece despite fighting odds of 20 to 1 in a battle now known as Rossilino's Rout. But unfortunately the same could not be said of his former but now dead Captain. The promotion was ratified and he served as Captain until the end of the war. He was then offered the Command of one of the new Prometheus Class vessels, an opportunity he jumped at. On returning to earth to check the new ship out he was informed that he would be taking her into Serennian space a new uncharted region of space with the newly formed Janus Fleet. They were to leave within days. He asked for and received the transfer of most of his Vancouver crew to the newly named Testa Rossa including his half Scottish half Klingon first officer. As he left earth orbit to rendezvous with the other ships he wondered what awaited him. The rest is still to be written............... Personality profile: Likes things done his way, although since becoming first officer has learnt to listen to advice, whilst still claiming the idea as his own. Can easily get along with most people. Is a dedicated to his crew and a career officer. Has a wicked sense of humour. |
