Through veiled eyes we see our lives, never
knowing where we are going.
The people we meet, the seeds we plant, we
seldom see them growing.

Yet everywhere we go, and with all the people
that we meet,
We leave a mark upon their hearts.

Was it a mark of friendship, a mark that is true?
Was it a mark of joy, or was it a mark of fear?
Did we leave them with a message that helps
them with their toil?

Be careful how you treat the people that come
into your life.
It will either lead to happiness or to suffering,
