"Rosie" by Lenora McCoy"

She flies, fast as the wind
To do her mischief
Running up the stairs
Into rooms
She's not allowed.

Cuddly
More cuddly than a teddy bear
Just begging to be hugged and hugged

Energetic, like a little puppy
Though she's too old for that excuse

When she sees people
Quicker than the speeding bullet
She runs to greet them

Her goal in life
To kiss everyone
she meets

She is loved
As a special member of our family
She may be my cousin's dog
But she is loved by all of us
And we consider her everyone's dog

Our little Rosie puppy
