I-D Liquid Supplement

I-D Supplement is a natural fluid immune system booster that is based upon cow colostrum.  It contains all of the normal antibodies that you would expect in colostrum.

I-D is a source of natural antibodies that can be administered orally, topically, or intravenously.   When these live antibodies are introduced into an animal's body, they stimulate the animal's immune system into producing massive amounts of disease-, infection-, and bacteria-fighting antibodies.

I-D Supplement can be used as a preventative or reactive immune system booster.  In the preventive mode, it can be used to build up an animal's immune system prior to high stress situations such as birth, transport, high performance, and showing.  In reactive mode, I-D Supplement can be given to an animal at the first sign of a health problem.  Often the energized immune system will prevent further development of the problem.

I-D Supplement can be used in conjunction with specialized medications.  The animal's energized immune system can provide protection from secondary health problems while the specialized medication attacks the primary problem.

I-D Supplement comes from Grade A dairy herds located in central Iowa.  I-D Supplement is GUARANTEED DISEASE FREE and is USDA-registered.  I-D Supplement production herds are monitored constantly by veterinarians.

I-D Supplement comes in 120-milliliter bottles.  Dosages for goat-sized animals are typically 3 cc. per day for three days and 2 cc. per day for the next three days.  I-D Supplement has a shelf life of one year when kept refrigerated.  Extended exposure to heat or sunlight kills the antibodies.

The mail order price is $20 per bottle plus shipping and handling.

I-D Liquid Use for Goats

Remember that I-D Supplement is a STIMULANT!  Large doses are NOT NECESSARY.  Your goal is to awaken the goat's immune system and let it do the work of fighting a health threat.  Also, it is IMPOSSIBLE to "overdose."  I-D Supplement is basically milk serum.  Your goats will think they are drinking milk and will beg for more once they have tasted it.

Goats other than newborns will usually respond to 3 cc. orally per day for three days, followed by 2 cc. orally per day IF NEEDED.  Newborns will usually respond to half doses but, again, there is no threat of overdosing.

For those cases of massive infection or open wounds, 5 cc. orally per day is a good starting point.  If the wound or infection begins to drain, it is okay to increase the dosage to give the animal more infection fighting antibodies.  Drainage is good.  That means the body is fighting back.  Keep the wound draining until it heals from the inside out.   Don't let a "pus pocket" become sealed off.  Lance it if necessary.   I-D Supplement sprayed on the open wound is very beneficial to helping the skin grow back.

I-D Supplement liquid can be used in combination with other medications with no interaction. I-D Supplement also will not affect drug tests for show animals.  It also does not have any "withdrawal" period for either milk or meat animals.

For long-term maintenance with recurring sickness in animals, give them the 3 cc. per day dosage and then give 3 cc. orally per week to keep boosting the immune system.  If the animal appears to have improved considerably, it is okay to gradually decrease dosage or stop completely.   Just keep a sharp eye out for the beginnings of a recurrence.  If seen, give them a few cc.s, and then get back on the scheduled dosage program.  I-D VitaPak powder is ideal for long-term usage.

For stress situations like travel, shows, birthing, etc., if possible, give them a 3-day 3 cc. dosage two to three weeks in advance, and then another 3-day 2 cc. dosage three days in advance.  During the stress situation, give 2 or 3 cc. as needed according to visual clues, such as snotty nose, coughing or loss of appetite.

Remember that I-D liquid supplement should be refrigerated and kept out of direct sunlight.  Shelf life is one year.  Large amounts of sediment in the bottle and discoloration means the antibodies have died and the bottle should be discarded.

I-D Powder Immune System Booster

I-D VitaPak is a natural powdered immune system booster that is based upon cow colostrum.  It contains all of the normal antibodies that you would expect in colostrum.

I-D VitaPak is a source of natural antibodies.   When these live antibodies are introduced into an animal's body they stimulate the animal's immune system into producing massive amounts of disease-, infection-, and bacteria-fighting antibodies.

I-D VitaPak does not fight the animal's problem.  The animal's own body responds to the challenge. The end result is the animal's immune system is able to respond to the situation immediately.  Quite often the immune system response is more effective than using a chemical response (artificial medicines).

I-D VitaPak powder is used as a long-term preventative immune system booster.  It can be used to build up and maintain an animal's immune system.  Often the energized immune system will prevent development of health problems.

I-D VitaPak can be used in conjunction with specialized mediations.  The animal's energized immune system can provide protection from secondary health problems while the specialized medication attacks the primary problem.

I-D VitaPak comes from Grade A  dairy herds located in central Iowa.  I-D VitaPak is GUARANTEED DISEASE FREE and is USDA registered.  I-D production herds are monitored constantly by veterinarians.

I-D VitaPak powder comes in one pound packages.  Dosages for goat-sized animals are typically a level teaspoon per day for as long as desired.  I-D powder should be kept in a cool dry location.  Extended exposure to heat or sunlight kills the antibodies.

The mail order price is $10 per pound plus shipping and handling.

I-D Powder Use for Goats

Remember that I-D is a STIMULANT!  Large doses are NOT NECESSARY.  Your goal is to awaken the goat's immune system and let it do the work of fighting a health threat.  Also it is IMPOSSIBLE to "overdose."  I-D is basically milk serum.  Your goats will think they are drinking milk and will beg for more once they have tasted it.

I-D powder is intended as a long-term immune system stimulant.  It will not provide the "instant" response that will be seen with I-D liquid.  The idea situation is to place the animals on a 3-day I-D liquid program to wake up their immune system, followed by on-going I-D powder usage.

Each goat should receive a level teaspoon of I-D powder each day.  A good technique is to place the powder in a salt shaker.  Sprinkle it over their normal dry feed until there is a white powder covering the feed.  You may want to experiment by putting one teaspoon in the shaker to see how much is required on the food to get the right dusting, so that you don't have to measure each time.  Again, it is impossible to overdose.

I-D powder should be kept cool and dry, but it does not need refrigeration.  Direct sunlight will kill the antibodies.
