Four And A Door

.

The latest story to be told, involves a group of four,

Who were involved, with kicking in, a locked apartment door.

Two P.C.'s, a corporal, and an actor went as well,

To arrest some guy on warrants, is the story that they tell.

.

The door went in, no problem, the suspect was inside,

They arrested him without trouble, now would take him for a ride.

But when they turned to go out, much to their surprise,

The door just would not open, they could not believe their eyes.

.

So begins their problem, of how they would get out,

Pry the door from inside, or give radio a shout.

The door was badly twisted, sitting in its frame,

For their odd predicament, Corporal Cattley gets the blame.

.

He is the one who closed the door, locking all within,

But all will feel the sting of words, for this minor sin.

Crocker then attacked the door, while Mahy gave support,

While Al MacLean was standing by, holding down the fort.

.

The door was proving stubborn, the hinges were removed,

But still the blasted, broken thing, was refusing to be moved.

After wasting many minutes, their task had proved futile,

They called for Robert Bujak, to go the extra mile.

.

Bob became the hero, by rescuing the four,

Now this funny incident, becomes part of our folklore,

So take warning from this foursome, who all got trapped inside,

Either carry dynamite, or leave someone else outside.
