Rock On

.
The call came in, the panic starts, policemen on the run,
Sots fired at the PIC counter, some nut who has a gun.
Reports forgotten, coffee spilled, all running for the door,
The rush of those who headed down, caused a vacant second floor.
.
We headed 'round the building, twenty units strong,
The suspect would be captured quick, he could not last too long.
Headquarters was surrounded, the front doors bathed in light,
Units kept arriving there, all prepared to fight.
.
Guns were at the ready, nine mil and thirty eight,
Each one prepared if needed, to send the guy to meet his fate.
We all lined up, got set to pounce, to drag the guy to jail,
But nowhere within line of sight, was the suspect male.

.
Then the call was broadcast, there was no gun involved,
In fact the suspect had been caught, the crime considered solved.
1500 Tom McLean, had been working right inside,
When the blasts took out the doorway, there was nowhere to hide.

.
Petit picked up the radio, and made the call for war,
Then McLean chased down the suspect, to even up the score.
But what had done the damage? Making such a noise?
To cause a state of panic in, all the working boys?

.
The only thing I can surmise, from the angry suspect man,
He must have gotten access to, the Special Weapons Van.
Then selected very carefully, from their private stocks,
Two of the biggest calibre, of Emerg. Response Team ROCKS!
