Three Penny Trick

Sheila Vanstone, partner of, Griff Simmonds on the beat,

Working on the hookers who, ply their trade out on the street.

But on this day they chose to work, the customers who cruise,

Sheila was all "hoed" up, the tricks were sure to lose.

Along came her first customer, a swarthy looking guy,

Deeply tanned and looking for, a girl that he could try.

Then he spotted Sheila, and in his eyes was lust,

She saw him coming over, and knew she'd make the bust.

Negotiations started, what price for just which act,

Very quickly over, the two had made a pact.

Griff moved quickly forward, to make the first arrest,

Released him with a summons, and saw him heading west.

But soon the guy was back there, a persistent fellow he,

Offered her two hundred, to pay her asked for fee.

But, he had just arrived here, from Turkey on a trip,

He just had Turkish money, would she take that plus a tip?

She did her best to rid herself, of this very stubborn male,

Soon it was apparent, that he'd spend the night in jail.

The signal flashed, and Griff moved in, grabbed the guy again,

Wagons called to take the guy, to jail at 312 Main.

So later they decided to, find out how much he paid,

To hire our sweet Sheila, so he could go get laid.

Well imagine the reaction, to the news of offered rents,

You see, all that Turkish money, was only worth three cents.
