Armed Robbery

.
Robbery in progress, the call to start our day,
The boys and girls from Thirty-Two, were quickly on the way.
Quadrants had been set up, the scene had been contained,
The suspects could not get away, their fate was pre-ordained.
.
Blue and Whites were circling, like sharks about to feed,
On these two hapless criminals, who had done this dirty deed.
Detectives, Dog Cars, Traffic Men, they all would like a shot,
At catching these two losers, who were dying to be caught.
.
The net was quickly tightening, with the robbers trapped inside,
Very soon the pair would take, that lonely wagon ride.
But a twist comes to this story, I'm sure you might have guessed,
To be the subject of a poem, and join with all the rest.
.
The victim of this story, now we have to tell the tale,
Of "Bam Bam" Glynis Baker, how she put these crooks in jail.
She went out to the area, responding with great speed,
All her training safely done, prepared her well indeed.
.
Armed and dangerous criminals, had been forced to go to ground,
Within minutes it was over, both of them were found.
At gunpoint each was taken, the cuffs had been applied,
Then someone had to notice, there was nowhere she could hide.
.
Some guys in their rush to work, have forgotten things behind,
Hats and cuffs and radios, which can leave you in a bind.
But in this mass excitement, when the units had to run,
Glynis in her hurry, forgot to take her gun.
