The Hole Story
.
A theft from
auto suspect, was hiding in the lot,
Units searching
high and low, to get the fellow caught.
Around the
block, down the street, nowhere could he be found,
Then, One Five
Four Four, Prokopetz, headed underground.
.
He searched
the different levels, looked in each and every stall,
But he could
not find that suspect, related to this call.
He kept on
looking for him, he would find him if he could,
By searching
every level, he would get the suspect good.
.
As Paul continued
searching, he came round the final bend,
Soon to meet
his destiny, when the search would reach an end.
He drove the
unit forward, then the bottom fell away,
His unit crashing
downwards, to really make his day.
.
Not knowing
what had happened, he paused to look about,
Still not seeing
the solution, he decided to get out.
Then he found
his problem, the car resting on it's frame,
Paul knew he
was about to, join the ranks of rhyming fame.
.
But, just maybe
he could hide this, so that word would not get back,
To find its
way into a poem, and join the growing stack.
He only had
to find a way, to get a tow-truck there,
To get the
unit to the top, back in the open air.
.
Despite his
valiant efforts, to keep the story hid,
I managed to
discover, just what it was he did.
It seems that
in his eagerness, to catch a theft from auto troll,
He dropped
that darn police car, down a gaping wide man-hole.
