WELCOME TO GREG'S PERFORMANCE PAGE

Welcome to the Yamaha YZF-R1 and Corvette Performance Page. This page is dedicated to some of my hobbies. This is the first web page design I have ever attempted so if it sucks, don't worry, it will get better with time. I have been racing cars and motorcycles for approximately 15 years. If you are into sportbikes or Corvettes you are in the right place. Want to know how run mid 11's in the 1/4 mile with a stock looking Corvette without any of that cheatin' nitrous or blower stuff? Want to know how to get a late model LT-1 Corvette into the 12's without digging into the motor? Want to spank those pesky ZX-9R's, 900RR's, GSXR's ? Just see below:

IT'S FINALLY HERE !!!!!

Blue R1's are now arriving at dealerships all across the United States. It's been a long wait but my R1 finally made it to town on April 24th.

:

THE MOST INCREDIBLE SPORTBIKE EVER CONCEIVED AND BROUGHT TO PRODUCTION !

This bike is now a reality. It was ordered on October 17, 1997 and delivered on April 24, 1998. How's that for a long wait? Many others have not been as lucky though, as YZF-R1 deliveries are still being scheduled through the end of May and possibly into June.

This bike has a dry weight of 390 lbs. making it the lightest open class sportbike ever produced. At 150 HP, it has the highest power to weight ratio of any bike ever offered to the public. Don't even think about getting one of these bikes unless you are a very experienced rider. This bike is almost guaranteed to hurt squidly riders in less time than you can say "YZF-R what?" It will wheelie under power in first or second gear and can be clutched up in third gear. The R1 has run the 1/4 mile in 10.32 @ 138 mph. It has been chosen as the undisputed open class sportbike winner in every test throughout the world.

Check out my YZF-R1 page for the latest performance modifications, dyno charts, and 1/4 mile e.t. slips. This page will be in a constant state of construction beginning when I receive my bike. As of today, there is an excellent YZF-R1 pictures section, a Sport Rider magazine dyno test of different slip-on pipes, a page devoted to the different R1 black boxes around the world and a page with pictures of my bike.

Join in on the fun in the chatroom where you can talk to the DJ's and other crazy people. Make requests for real rock but don't even think about requesting any Nirvavna, Bush, Beck, etc., you'll get crusified! This is an internet only radio program so there is NO sensorship (COOL!).
