Patrick
is due to begin filming in the UK for a new version of Charles Dickens
'A Christmas Carol', in which he plays Scrooge.

The TV version is due to be released in time for Christmas of this year both in the US and the UK if agreement can be reached with TNT who are due to show it in the US. The producer is once again Robert Halmi Snr. who brought the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated Moby Dick to the screen last year in which Stewart played the obsessed Captain Ahab. Stewart received nominations from both award bodies for his portrayal, as did Gregory Peck, who picked up the Golden Globe last week for best supporting actor. |
