Have
recent events had any bearing on today's Tony nominee announcement?

Perhaps
not unsurprisingly Patrick was given a wide berth this year, but
as Huddersfield Town will no doubt also be reflecting - 'There's always
another year'...

Having
hosted the annual Drama League Luncheon last Friday, Patrick will
be amongst the presenters of the Drama
Desk Awards this Sunday 14th May at LaGuardia Concert Hall
in NY's Lincoln Center.
The
event is televised live on NY 1 from 9 - 11 pm.
Thursday
11th May is the day of the Equity actor's union hearing which Stewart
has to attend following the Shubert Organisation's complaint to them over
the post curtain call speech...

'Where's
the publicity?' say Stewart and Miller |
|
|
Are
the Shubert Organisation failing to provide promotion for the recently
opened Miller play? An obviously miffed Patrick caused quite a stir by
publicly criticizing the producers of the 'The Ride Down Mt. Morgan'
after the curtain call at a recent performance.

all about it at the Electronic
Telegraph site
Coincidentally
earlier last week on Tuesday 25th April, Patrick was principal speaker
at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts graduation ceremony held
at the Majestic Theatre - and was introduced by Gerald
Schoenfeld,
chairman of the Shubert Organization....
Thanks
to Aline, Jewel, Karen and others for the above
