By practicing these simple techniques, you can learn to be more in control of 
your drinking and avoid negative consequences.
 
1. USE YOUR STOMACH
* EAT BEFORE YOU DRINK
* CHOOSE DRINKS WITH MIXERS(calories slow down absorption) AND LOW ALCOHOL 
CONTENT
 
2. USE YOUR MOUTH
* SLOW DOWN DRINKING RATE (ONE PER HOUR)
* SIP, DON’T GULP
* ALTERNATE ALCOHOLIC AND NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
* DON’T QUENCH YOUR THIRST WITH ALCOHOLIC DRINKS
 
3. USE YOUR HEAD
* PLAN HOW MUCH YOU WILL DRINK BEFOREHAND
* "INOCULATE" YOURSELF TO POTENTIAL PROBLEMS (LIKE PRESSURES TO DRINK MORE)
* GET INVOLVED IN NON-ALCOHOLIC ACTIVITIES
* LIMIT YOUR DRINKING TO NO MORE THAN 3-4 DRINKS AT A TIME. DON’T DRINK EVERY 
DAY. HAVE NO MORE THAN 12 DRINKS PER WEEK.
