In the United States our national, state and local laws are made and national, state and local governments are run by people elected by the citizens who vote. Since all citizens are often materially affected by laws passed and actions taken by these elected officials, it is very important that those eligible to vote exercise their right to choose these officials. The following questions relate to the privilege and responsibility of voting.
