Respect from both sides for the gallant crew of CSS Hunley

The Gallant crew of the C.S.S. Hunley was laid to rest in Charleston, S.C. today. The mile long procession was made up of reenactors from both the Confederacy and the Union.
The Hunley was the first submarine to sink a ship with a torpedo. The U.S.S. Housatonic was sunk in Charleston Harbor.

Sleep Well Gallant Souls.
