

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter,
softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
6 squares white baking
chocolate, in chunks
6 squares bittersweet baking
chocolate, in chunks
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
In a large bowl,
cream together butter and both sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla until light and
fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into batter. Fold in chocolate
chunks and pecans. Drop small spoonfuls of batter onto ungreased or paper lined
cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly
browned. Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheets, then transfer to wire rackes to let
cool. Makes 3 dozen
