Ingredients: 1 cup
of butter Direction: Preheat the oven to GM5/375F/190C. Cream the butter and sugars thoroughly, then
beat in the vanilla, then beat in the egg and (sifted) cocoa powder. Mix in
the flour, soda, and salt, to result in a stiff dough. Stir in the chocolate
chips. Drop tablespoonfuls on an ungreased baking
sheet. Bake 8-12 minutes until set. Wait 2 minutes for them to coo, then put
