The American Arm is reached by the Sino-American Approaches route to DM-26 12026. The arm then divides into two further branches; The American Sub-Arm beginning at Mu Herculis, and The Australian Sub-Arm beginning at New Melbourne. From Vega another branch open up to a vast area of only partly explored space. The Vega sub-branch was until resently a dead-end sector of space offering only nine fairly unpromising systems.

In January 2300 however, a new Brown Dwarf star labeled ISO 417 was discovered. It connects AC+20 1463-148 on the Vega sub-branch with the previously unaccessible AC+2 2155-242. From AC+2 2155-242 a total of 13 star systems are available. The AC+20 - ISO 417 - AC+2 route became known as the Acey-Acey Bridge. The new space branch is commonly called the Beta Aquilae Cluster, or the Acey-Acey Sector. Most of the star systems in this sector are still unsurveyed.
