Very little exploration has yet been undertaken by humanity in Pentapod space. A handfull human research vessels are currently examining various systems and worlds in Pentapod space, but still much is unknown.

Mankind is still unclear as to where the Pentapods hail from. Apart from the small Pentapod enclave on Beta Canum Venaticourum IV, the Pentapods and the humans share a joint facility and outpost on Schönenwelt (DM+27 28217).
