THE PAGE IS IN MEMORY OF MY FATHER WHO PASSED AWAY 10/11/04

My father was Louis Warren Diggs. He was a long haul truck driver and after him and my mother retired, they moved to Harlingen Texas. Him and 5 other men would go to their church every Friday and take care of the lawn. Since daddy always talked about his truck driving years, they thought it would be a great idea to fix the lawnmower up like a truck. So they added what looks like diesel twin stacks to it. He was 83 when he passed away.
HE IS GREATLY MISSED BY HIS FRIENDS & FAMILY

Well it's coming up on 4 years that my father stepped out of our lives. There is not a day that goes by that he is not thougt of. My brother and I love to talk about the stories of the antics that him and his brother used to pull on people. One of the best, is when they dismanteled a wagon (and i dont mean a child's toy) and put it back together on the top of the farmers barn. Can you imagine the look on the farmers face the next morning. hahaha Of course as usual, they paid for it, because everyone new the Diggs boys.

I write this knowing that not too many people will read it. But because I took care of him the last month of his life and I was holding his hand when he slipped away, it took a great toll on my. So I find comfort in writing this. My 3 brothers and I also draw comfort knowing that we still have out mother. She is 82, but still going stong. Not fast, but she's out there. "smile"

THANKS FOR A LISTING EAR
