~Meeting Uniforms~
All attendees at General meetings shall
be garbed in their Academie Uniform consisting of the following
in the appropriate color for that element, these being:
- FOR MALES Srad - Red, Athar - Yellow, Creag - Green, Sal - Blue.
-
- FOR FEMALES Srad - Red, Athar - Yellow, Creag - Green, Sal - Blue.
-
- ELDRITCH PATH uniforms will correspond to those below but will bear either white or black as
the main color scheme.
- BLOODGUARD uniforms will be proscribed
as follows: members will wear the highest armor they are able to wear, if
possible in the same color as the wizard they are assigned to protect.
The Captain of the BloodGuard will wear the highest monk armor they are able
to wear and the highest dugon they are able to wear.
-
- The only individuals which shall bear a staff at General Meetings shall be the Regent
and Elemental Deans.
-
- If an Aisling is insufficient insight to wear
the Uniform appropriate to their rank, they may wear the uniform of lesser rank,
but must wear a magus toque or magus conical to reflect their advanced rank.
-
- Acquiring the armor:
-
- Obviously there will be circumstances when it will be difficult for some to acquire the Uniform
they require. Thankfully, there are many talented and skilled wizards in the Acadamie, and it may
be possible to 'borrow' the appropriate armor, or if need be, enlist their aid in crafting it.
-
- 41st insight: The Stoller and Lorum may be crafted through Jean in
Loures by any wizard over 41st insight with
respected citizenship in either Mileth or Rucesion and wizardry researcher of (3).
-
- 71st insight: The Clymouth and Mane may be crafted in the east
woodlands by any wizard over 71st insight with
respected citizenship in either Mileth or Rucesion. The Clymouth requires 6 finished pieces of talos,
and the Mane requires 6 magic cordovan boots. Obviously the Talgonite is much easier to procure, but
if god-blessed cordovan boots are collected whenever they are found, it is not overly difficult to
desecrate, then magically imbue them.
-
- 97th insight: The Clamyth and Duin-Uasal may be crafted by any
wizard over 97th insight
who has achieved either 'Aisling of Talos, Mythril or Hy-Brasyl'. Obviously Hy-Brasyl is the
most desirable of
the three as all it requires is a finished piece of Hy-Brasyl and no experience.
-
- Nightmare armor: Only a wizard of 80th insight or higher may quest for this armor, though
it may be bought or sold by one who no longer has any use for it.
-
- Oren Pirate armor While this armor is difficult to acquire, it may be worn by an
Aisling of
any insight.
-
- Master armor and Pentagram Quest Armor: Can only be acquired by doing the appropriate quest.
These armors can not be dropped or traded away.
-
- Acadamie Treasury: The Acadamie has inherited many uniforms over the Deochs which may be
loaned out as necessary.
- ARCANUS ADEPTUS :
- Veneficus Adeptus. 'nuff said.
-
- REGENT :
- *THWACK!*
-
- CHANCELLOR of
ELEMENTS :
- hehe
-
- Treasurer :
- Well... Um... Er...
-
- SCRIBE :
- The lich's robes are a mark of the Scribe, a symbol of their knowledge and personal sacrifice.
A scribe must work tirelessly to maintain and preserve the knowledge of
the Acadamie.
-
- REMAINING STAFF : At their option.
- O.O Does anyone else feel a draft in here?
-
- CAPTAIN OF THE BLOODGUARD
:
- Sworn protectors of the Acadamie, these enlightened
monks defend the wizard they are sworn to with preternatural skill.
-
- DEANS :
- Masters of their element, they serve as examples to those who follow the
path they represent. Dedication, discipline, determination, they
guide their students along the difficult path, letting the students learn
from their experiences.

- ADEPT :
- One must master one's self, before one can master the elements. An
adept is a wizard who is truly dedicated to their path, understanding the
intricacies of their chosen element.

- GRADUATE :
- When a wizard is experienced enough, and has shown his or her abilities, through application and
research, they may be advanced to graduate, with the crafting of a Lorum or Stoller as their final test.
It is at this point a wizard has declared themselves to follow an element
beyond any doubt.

- APPRENTICE:
- When a wizard has been admitted into the Acadamie, they declare their element and display their
affiliation proudly. Their colors tell others at a glance where their strength lies.
This is the most fluid time for a wizard, as they can easily learn any
element, switching elements for them is as easy as changing their clothes.

- INITIATE:
- Wizards who wish to join the Acadamie must shed all pretense and present themselves to be tested,
free of preconception or assumptions. They appear before the council wearing a simple shirt or blouse,
symbolic of their journey's beginning with the Acadamie.
