Here is a picture of me and my new husband. Michael David Groff. We met around March of 1999.. We met on the bbw^singles channel on dalnet. On May 17th we met in person and have been hard to get apart ever since. I have never loved someone as much as I love him. He
is my love, my best friend and someone I can laugh and joke with. He is
a climotologist in the forecasting department in a company called Accu-Weather and no we do not know the weather all the time contrary to
popular belief! I never knew what true love was till he came into my life.
He is my love, my life, my everything!!! I love you Michael!!! :)
We are both Christians and enjoy seeking out bible truths. Going to church
together is what really bonded us and Christ will always be a part of
our lives. We got engaged November 17, 1999 and we got married April 22, 2000 and in his hometown in Emporium, PA. The day was cloudy and rainy, but it was sunshining in our hearts. It was a very special day pledging our love in front of God, our family and friends. What they say is true marriages are made in heaven. We went to Niagara Falls Canada for our honeymoon. I have been there many times before, but never got to see the Falls at night and what I must say is that they are spectacular and very romantic. I think everyone in their lifetime must go and see them.

My name is Carol. I live in State College, Pennsylvania and grew up in a town called Woodland, PA.. I graduated 12th in my class from Clearfield High School. I was an honor
student (in the National Honor Society) and was a Multiple Year Award in Who's Who in American
High School Students. I was involved in Band, Orchestra and
Chorus. I played the clarinet and was first chair for 2 years.
In Chorus my senior year I went to Regional Chorus in Lewistown
and was 2 chairs off states. On award day I received 4 scholarships. I went to college. I had to postpone my dream of becoming
a nurse because of a terrible disease called Depression which I developed when I was 19 years old.
I have two friends that I met in school that I am pretty close with.
Steph is my best friend. Met her in Marching Band at first. She
thought I was such a b*tch! LOL I was the 1st Chair and had to have
my line perfect you know.. and she just didn't know her right from her left.
LOL She has a baby and her name is Margaret Anne-Marie Spencer.
I never met such a pleasant giggly baby! Another best friend is my
friend Jason. We are a year apart from each other.. Well actually 354 days!
LOL His birthday is on the 6th mine is on the 7th of February. We have
been neighbors since we were wee tots. He is part of the family and
I think of him as my "younger brother I never had". LOL
I used to chat when WBS was up and running in Disabled Chat.
I met some really cool people there. Those who I am still in contact
with is: A Liaison, Peavey316, marie04, bullsfan97,
njam, and Tutzie. They all have a special place in my
heart. I love you all!!! :) I now talk on a channel called
#bbw-supersize,
#bbw-supersize!!:)
My Dad had Polio when he was only 25. He now has POST POLIO
SYNDROME now and had to go on Disability since 1989 I believe. He is in
a lot of pain, but he tries not to complain. I really look up to my Dad
because he worked and supported our family for many years. Many other
people would of gave up. Well yes I am Daddy's girl.. Mom could tell you
that.. :) We had a scare 2 years ago. Dad had prostate cancer. We all
kept a positive attitude and he got out of the operation cancer free.. Thank
God!
My Mom. She should have the mother of the century award. When I was
born she quit work just to raise me. She was involved when I was in
Brownies and Girl Scouts... Supported me in School when I was in the
Clearfield Bison Band and has always been there for me. When I was in the
hospital from my Depression she and Dad had to go and see me everyday..
Now that I am volunteering to do projects for the Mental Health Community
she helps me with that too.. She is an all star Mom! So I can't just say I am
Daddy's little girl. I am Mommy's little girl too.. hehe Mom had a heart
attack Octobe of 1998r. The ambulance had to come here to pick her up. Shecouldn't move. I was so scared! Well she got a triple bypass and is on her
way to recovery. I love my Mom and Dad so much!!
I lived (27 years) with my Mother and Father in a small town in
Woodland, Pennsylvania called Pleasantvalley. My Mother's name is
Margaret and my fathers name is Chester. Here is a picture of my
parents. 
We are all
really close to each other and they have been my biggest support
in my life. I live with my Mom and Dad in Woodland, Pennsylvania.
I have one brother his name is Chester also but he is the III Chester. Here is a picture
of him.
We are very close also. He is
married and has two children Matthew and Mark. It was always
the joke that I had to have Luke and John! LOL His wife's
name is Sharon and she has MS.
I was really upset when I found out that Diana "Queen of our Hearts"
has died. I know she had a history of Depression and her
life was all dedicated to helping others. May we use her as
an example. Lets do all we can to help others and follow
her footsteps! May we be a little more
like angels! Just like Diana!
