Group thanks volunteers for helping animals

Animal Aid Network had its annual Appreciation Luncheon December 13 at the Golden Dragon in Cottonwood.

The following volunteers were awarded for their hard work and dedication toward helping Verde Valley animals:  Al Brownell, Mary Jane Gosselin, Dr. Virginia Froehlich, Julie Heitzman, Kraig Imrie, Marty Leibert, Kay Neuman, Patty Norton, Betty Porter, Bonnie Reeves and Cathy Stewart.

The Board of Directors also extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Bruce Weber of the Verde Veterinary Hospital for all his support in helping to reduce animal overpopulation in the Verde Valley.

Animal Aid Network is a nonprofit, volunteer organization, dedicated to helping animals through its low-cost Spay Neuter Incentive Program and Saving Animals with Veterinary Emergencies Fund.
